Common theory questions

What is so-called "steering wheel shake"?

So-called "steering wheel shake" ("rattfrossa" in Swedish) is when the steering wheel shakes at a certain speed. This can occur if the wheels are incorrectly balanced or some part of the steering system is worn.

If the wheels are incorrectly balanced, unevenly worn patches usually occur on the tyres as well.

If you notice any of these symptoms you should take the car to a workshop.
