Common theory questions

Where should you place the warning triangle if your car has broken down after a sharp turn?

If your car is obscured by a sharp turn or a hilltop, you must place the warning triangle at least 100 metres behind the car, before the turn or hill begins. If the turn or slope is long, you may need to put out the warning triangle more than 100 metres behind the car.

If possible, you should also put out a second warning triangle in the oncoming lane.
